This is a full body massage using a medicated herb powder to pacify Kapha doshas. This massage helps in toning up the skin while lending it butter like texture due to increased blood supple and oxygenation, diminishes the appearance of cellulite by melting Medo Dhatu with increased mobility of the skin due to the vigorous friction and improves digestion while alleviating inactivity and sluggishness.
This is one of the most rejuvenating and curative therapy whereby the massage and stimulation of the Marma points of the head, neck, shoulders and feet is followed by a continuous pouring a stream of warm oil on and across the forehead. Shirodhara helps in calming the mind and releasing any stress. It is highly effective in reducing anxiety, anger, chronic headaches, migraine, hyper tension, insomnia and hair problems.
This deep healing treatment begins with a liberal application of the prescribed oils using soft, gentle strokes. This comprehensive body massage enhances the body’s ability to absorb nutrients while removing any stagnant waste. Warm Herbal oils are concocted to nourish and revitalize the tissues. Abhyanga is characterized by long strokes, flowing movements and marma point therapy. It heightens awareness in order to direct the deep internal healing of the body by naturally bringing harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. This is followed by a steam bath (swedanam).
Abhyangam improves appetite, induces good sleep, reduces stress levels and builds the body’s immunity while improving blood circulation, delaying aging and reducing Vata.
Mukhlepam is an Ayurvedic facial which brings a glow and shine on the face, removes existing facial tanning and acts as an anti-aging therapy.
These are primarily, pain removal therapies and are specific to the area of application/treatment.
Kati Basti is a treatment for the pain of the Lower Back. This treatment has a relaxing effect and helps relieve back pain and other with spinal disorders.
Griva Basti takes care of pain in the cervical area.
Janu Basti is specific to the pain in the knee which is common in aged people. This warm oil treatment relieves pain by reducing stiffness and inflammation in and around the knees along with strengthening the knee joints by improving blood circulation.
Manibandh Basti is beneficial to those suffering from pain in the wrist.
Netra Basti takes care of g: General ocular health. This treatment is ideal for those suffering from computer vision syndrome and diabetes related eye problems.
This is a body exfoliation therapy using kitchen herbs like ginger, sesame, cardamom, clove and other powders mixed with red rice. It is concluded with the application of an herbal pack mainly constituting of licorice over the entire body which helps in removing tan and also acts as a treatment for pigmentation.
This is a great skin polishing treatment mostly popular among brides-to-be. This unique massage uses red rice cooked together with milk and herbs to make a pudding (kheer) that is collected in boluses (Potalis) and massaged over the skin. This treatment acts as an intensely invigorating therapy and is advised to alleviate generalized weakness and low energy.
This treatment uses herbal poultices (bundles) that are prepared using fresh leaves and herbs. These poultices are then warmed in medicated oils and used to massage the entire body of the individual. This is the signature VLCC Ayurvedic therapy. It involves scrubbing the body with tamarind, red rice and herbs followed by a tamarind and yogurt pack post which the body is covered in banana or herbal leaves making a body wrap. Tamarind contains natural AHAs and antioxidants which remove any body tan while yogurt acts as a natural bleaching agent. The result of this is visible in the form of bright beautiful skin.
